Terms of Service
Last updated: November 10, 2025
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the SalfordEPC website (the "Service") operated by SalfordEPC ("us", "we", or "our").
1. Acknowledgment
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service. These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you and the Company regarding your use of the Service.
2. Our Services
We provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Fire Risk Assessments, and other related property compliance services ("Services"). By booking a Service, you agree to provide our assessors with safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.
3. Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations
All prices for our Services are listed on our website or provided via a formal quote. Payment is due upon completion of the assessment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SalfordEPC and its licensors. The Energy Performance Certificate and other reports we produce for you are for your use as required by law, but we retain copyright over the format and content of the reports themselves.
5. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the Service. The EPC and other reports are based on a non-invasive visual inspection of the property. We are not liable for any unseen defects or for the performance of recommended improvements. The purpose of the EPC is to provide an energy rating and recommendations, not a structural survey.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page.
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions about these Terms of Service, you can contact us by using the contact form on our website.
